Raised by a professional jazz musician, DC born pianist and producer, Capslok has been playing piano from the age of five. He began his career as a producer in 2014, and has since worked with major record labels and brands including Capitol, Atlantic, Apple, Meta, Calvin Klein, Toyota, The NFL and many more. 

 

      As a producer, Capslok has accumulated millions of streams in placements.  His work is featured on Netflix, Apple TV, and Facebook Watch. From 2018-2021 he was the in-house producer for Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum studio, District Sound Lab, while also working independently with select studios and individual artists.

 

      Intrigued by the strength and diversity of its music scene, Capslok relocated to Los Angeles in 2021 and expanded his work to incorporate multimedia soundtracks while continuing to produce for top level artists. He has since scored a number of major commercials, composed and supervised the soundtrack of the VR video game  "Blacktop Hoops," produced a record for Snoop Dogg's "Doggyland," and more. With a fresh take on modern production, steeped in both classical and jazz music theory and Rap and Hip Hop production, Capslok brings an original innovative sound to the Los Angeles music scene.
